Most of the travel experiences on the list are in Europe and America, but two are in Asia.

Luxury travel company Kuoni has launched a list of the world’s most exciting travel experiences to help travelers looking to travel abroad in 2024.

To rank the experiences, Kuoni looked for events that happen no more than twice a year and have the most Google searches. Most of those on the list are in Europe and the Americas, but two are in Asia.

Manhattanhenge, New York.

Manhattanhenge is a phenomenon that occurs between May and July. During these months, the sun appears to perfectly frame the city streets. This phenomenon is called the Manhattan Solstice. Many tourists come to take stunning photos amidst the iconic Manhattan skyline.

Venice Carnival, Italy.

The Carnival of Venice in Italy takes place every year just before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday. This year the carnival runs from January 27 to February 13. This annual event is famous around the world for its stunning masks and costumes.

Rio Carnival, Brazil.

One of the oldest carnivals in the world, this is the choice of tourists to experience the excitement of pre-Lenten celebrations. There are millions of people taking to the streets in a display of joyous Rio Carnival celebrations. They come from various countries.

Day of the Dead, Mexico.

Day of the Dead takes place in November in Mexico. This emotional celebration honors and remembers the dead. Rituals include preparing and offering food as a symbol of eternal care for the living.
